Dogs. They automatically take the win in the debate on which is better dogs or cats. Dog breeds are a lot more easier to get than some cats. I know some people who didn't know cats even had different breeds or species. Dogs are great symbols for "protection" even if your dog isnt hostile. Dogs also are a lot less maintenance than some cats. When it comes to outside, survival and requiring a lot less work, dogs win in that category. Outside dogs are a lot more common. Overall you can never go wrong with mans best friend
